The work
I worked on developing and refining the browser interfaces for Stem1 and Stem2, making connection, setup and device management easier to follow. My focus was on translating changing device states into clear steps, progress feedback and available actions.

Stem2 setup
I substantially improved the setup UI and user experience. I refined the flow, hierarchy and feedback to make progress and next steps clearer, while aligning shared interaction patterns and device states across Stem1 and Stem2 for a more consistent experience.
Stem1 device management
Device management brings together storage, uploads, transfers and firmware updates. I refined progress feedback and action availability, including preventing disconnection during an active transfer so users can understand when an operation needs to finish before they continue.
